What is our Superior Detail?
Rob's Mobile Detailing ("RMD") Superior Detail package is a great option for vehicles that haven't been detailed in a while, but are not severely neglected. This service builds on our Standard Detail by offering additional care and protection.

On the interior, we include focused steam cleaning for targeted areas that need extra attention and apply UV protection to surfaces to help prevent fading and cracking caused by sun exposure.

On the exterior, we go beyond waxing with a clay treatment to remove embedded contaminants, leaving the surface smooth and ready for optimal protection. Offering longer-lasting protection (up to 1 year) and a deeper shine compared to traditional wax, a layer of Silica Dioxide (SiO2) is applied to help repel dirt, water, and UV Damage.

Steam is used to spot-treat specific areas of the vehicle in need of added sanitization and cleaning
Vinyl, plastic, leather, and rubber, are treated with products that protect these surfaces from UV light, helping to prevent cracking, fading, and discoloration caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Thorough vacuum of the interior is performed. Floor mats are removed from the vehicle prior to vacuum.
All cracks and crevices inside the interior of the vehicle are blown out, using compressed air to get into hard-to-reach areas.

At RMD, we steer clear of artificial fragrances to create the illusion of cleanliness. Instead, we rely on the effectiveness of our cleaners to do the job, leaving your car with a naturally fresh and pleasant scent.
Dashboard, center console, cup holders, seats, and doors are sanitized and wiped clean.
Interior windows are cleaned to a streak-free finish.
We remove dirt and grime from your vehicle's door jambs, leaving them clean and polished for a fresh, detailed look.
Silica dioxide (SiOâ‚‚) is the primary ingredient in ceramic detail sprays, providing enhanced protection and a glossy finish. These sprays bond lightly to the surface, creating a hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and UV rays. While not as durable as full ceramic coatings, silica dioxide sprays offer superior protection compared to traditional waxes and can be used to maintain or enhance existing coatings.
Interior windows are cleaned to a streak-free finish.
Clay is designed to remove embedded contaminants from your vehicle’s surface that washing alone can’t eliminate, such as tar, tree sap, and industrial fallout.
Vehicles are initially dried using touchless methods via forced air to minimize swirling and scratching during the drying process. Final wipe down is complete using polymer-dense drying aids and carnuba waxes, boosting protection and gloss.
Exterior of the vehicle is washed using a two-bucket method, PH balanced shampoo, and softened water. Grit protectors are used in the process to avoid scratching and swirling. Vehicles are hand-washed using a variety of microfiber mitts to ensure the finish of the vehicle is washed as safely as possible.
Wheels are cleaned with wheel-specific brushes and mitts. Finish-safe cleaners used will not discolor, damage or mar the wheels. Tires are dressed using water-based dressings that are not greasy or oily, and leave behind a black, satin finish.
